In a society that is quick to recommend quick fixes and miracle cures, I understand how difficult it can be hard to try something as intimidating at counseling. I feel that counseling speeds up your natural healing process rather than assumes that you are broken and need to be fixed. Whether you want to get unstuck from unhelpful patterns of thought, or are adjusting a stressful phase of life, my methods will help you recover.
Relationships are an important part of our lives, but they can also be challenging when substance use creates problems. My support through building skills to manage triggers and stress will help you find a life worth living. You deserve a strong therapeutic relationship that will help you build motivation to face the source of your substance-use. I completed my coursework for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).
